Considering trading our AT4 6.2 for a new 2025 or 2026, but the wife doesn't like the green leather or the black front bumper on the newer models, so looked at a Denali. While the lower approach angle isn't as bad as I thought for the ways we'll use this vehicle, the tabs in front the front tires WILL certainly get hit or drug at times...even just pulling up to tall curb stops. Does anyone know if there is a way to remove or cleanly trim just those tabs?

I'm sure they potentially are removable, but they also potentially may have a function. I tried doing something like this on another vehicle I owned, and it directly affected its cooling ability. Sometimes these things are there for reasons that we may not understand.

I agree with you on many vehicles, but seeing as they are completely absent on the AT4s, I doubt they have much of a use other than additional wind noise reduction and/or miniscule affects on fuel mileage. I've seen photos of some lifted Denali and Denali Ultimate Yukons with the tabs removed, but haven't seen any guides or diagrams on how you might remove them.

We added a Suburban EV front spoiler to our '02 2500HD GMC, and it netted us a full 1 MPG improvement in mileage. So it's not minuscule.

We got a civilian Tahoe chin spoiler for our '18 PPV, but dam, you have to just about take the lower front bumper cover loose to get to TWO of the bolts that secure the spoiler to the cover. Haven't spent that much time there yet.

AT4 Ultimate doesn't have the green leather.
