Just a heads up @SpareParts those mirrors you have that are off a GMT900 Escalade will fit differently onto your GMT900 Yukon compared to your OEM Yukon mirrors.

This is because the GMT900 Escalades have different window reveal moldings than the Yukons.

They may fit differently against your door glass window trim in some areas; I know that specifically they will fit different on the lower portion that meets the window trim running along the bottom of the door glass:

I was actually wondering about that my self.
Guess i will need to disassemble them further to get the parts i want.

walmart auto center does a headlight service for $26.00 just for future reference
I use to do it when I did detailing for a body shop. Nothing I tried short of sanding it completely down and reclearing woulda saved them which I havent done in years sooo but I also wanted the denali style as well. Only 80 bucks for the pair so IMO worth it.

my brake pads are worn down. Upon further inspection, my rotors look pretty cooked. Tons of hairline cracks. They’re 7+ years old ~35k hard miles so naturally I think it’s time to put some 16” rotors up front. Will post pics when they arrive

The wiring for the door interior light is not there at all. Next time im at the wrecking yard i'll look at that Escalade and see if i can figure out where the wire comes from.

On the Yukon adding puddle lights turns out to be super simple. Even for a wiring dips**t like me.
The pics will explain it also.
The only parts you will need is the bottom part with the light and the wiring.
You do not need to remove the mirrors at all but must remove the top and bottom cover's.
You need to de pin the two wires from the donor harness plug and remove the wires from the harness.
To install, Feed the wires through the mirror mount where the other wires pass through.
I then put the bottom cover on and attached the light, then install the top cover. Mirror is done.
Secure the wires however you want and install the pins where the pic shows.
Put it all back together and unlock it with the remote.
The puddle lights should work when you unlock with the remote.

I could not use the inner lower chrome piece as the Escalade is two pieces and the Yukon is 1 piece. Doubt anyone will notice anything different anyway.
Anyway, here are some pics and the 2007 mirror part number. The Z75 on the Escalade part number just denotes Cadillac.

Washed Cracker yesterday and gave it a good wax job. Shiny clean!. Then today had to drive down a dirt road to the wrecking yard. Just stopped by the car wash and rinsed all the dust off. Shiny clean again!
The reason i went to the wrecking yard is, Cracker does not have paddle lights on the mirrors and I want them as Cracker does not have them but it does have the RPO code DL3 and all the functions, just no lights. So i dunno what's up there.
The ones i got were $20 each. I'll swap a couple parts around and end up with Chrome lower parts with paddle lights and white top's. I just hope the wiring is the same.

My Yukon has puddle lights and they really are not that bright.
I may put some LEDs in there to see if they actually make them useful.
Now that it is warm I will pry the lenses off and upgrade them.
Hard to do when the temps are real low and you end up cracking a lens.

Good luck with your upgrade.
Are those folding mirrors, as well?

Im really dreading this summer coming.
sucky part is there is a breeze of 10-15mph, but it's like being in a convection oven just hot air. Normally we get what is commonly referred to as the "delta breeze" which is cool but not happening. Up until now it's been relatively mild for ca weather, electric bill is going to be double now  this dam ac will run all night if I let it. It's getting turned off in about a hour I can't afford 24/7 AC. windows open and a fan. Otherwise I'm looking at a $1000+ electric bill they just keep raising the rates, the more you use the higher the rate gets

The electricity is going up again where I'm at too--again. They just raised them less then a year ago. Big companies just get greedier, and the politicians let them do it. That deserted island looks better every year.
