I installed a dashcam, windshield glare pretty bad. Looked at Covercraft, but some of the review photo's look really cheap.

Can anyone recommend a good low-glare, good fitting dash mat?

My kids have the Covercraft Carhartts and mine is an RZ Customs in the style of the traditional Dash Mats. I used the Dash Mats since the 1980s but they had a long lead time when I was looking for one for the truck so I bought the RZ Customs.

The first three photos are of the RZ in my Yukon back in 2018, still looks like that today. The other is the day we laid the Carhartt down in my daughter's truck, it lays flat now. I bought another one in a darker color for my 2013. No gripes with any of them.

Thanks for the reviews!

I like the look of that Carhartt fabric..
but the EZ Customs lookes neater on the edges, and looks like it would be better for reducing glare..

I saw that one and thought the material looked nice for a dash cover! How's the glare?

That one looks good too.. I filled out a form to get the material swatches.
I'm considering that dashtex matrerial, but I'm guessing velour is easier to smooth out and better at glare reduction..

Cover King. Pre-molded and fits the shape & curves like a glove.... Nearly looks factory.
( photos show, the forward vents not quite flat..... that's because I just installed it. It's held flat with special velcro )...... The cut-outs for the light sensor & vents are perfect.
A few color choices.

I thought about those, but figure a mat should be less reflective.. I prefer a smooth surface, but the dashcam has taken priority..
Plus the mat is cheaper and easier, dash still epoxied together.... for now.

I need something too. Cracked dash driving me crazy. My wife who shares the hoe
with me doesn't like the looks of carpet. She thinks its 80's style. I like the looks of the Berksyde. Glare not a priority issue, just looks and no rattling from cracked dash.

When I was shopping for a mat, I believe there was a 'velvet finish' choice. ( not carpet looking), But don't remember where I saw it.

Went over to Coverking website and they have a velour that might suite me and my wife. Looks like good quality too.
