Guess my UCAs aren't too bad with it on the ground, with the front end up its pretty bad. And cv axles don't even like to be turned. Broke down and ordered the RCVs a while ago, not sure when they're coming

So what was involved with the 14 bolt ifs swap?

Page 4-5-6 should explain, pretty simple except axles lol. Install was done when this was lowered a couple inches in the front.

Rcv axles finally came in after a couple months, they are beefy, prob a couple more lbs than the stockers. I should have ordered them the same size and just used spacers on one side to make up the difference- I guess I could order a spare shorter one and keep spacers with it if needed at this point anyway

A word of warning i guess, these axles apparently just spit grease out, pretty well documented on jeep forums. Heard it gets better after the first 1000miles or so. Kind of annoying but whatever I don't really keep it clean so not a huge deal breaker for me

That's the only thing I don't like about lifting a independent front, stacking crossmembers is not very attractive.
I think a well thought out skid looks pretty good but they are hard to find and find people to actually build them.
I'm a long travel prerunner kinda guy

It's a work in progress but I roughed in the skid plate without a bottom bracket support. It's just bolted on top. First pic is skid attached. Second is without from a distance. Still trying to decide on grille options.
