Beat me to it. I was about to suggest adding up the ampacity of all the breakers in their home panel and seeing if that number exceeded their main breaker rating.

*EDIT* Aaaaand now I see @gooffeyguy beat me to that.

I should read the following posts before replying :doh2:
I was going to say the same thing and realized I’m 25 pages behind. I never get email alerts anymore so I never really catch up. Sigh.

So the A/C compressor from Rock Auto has an extra connector on the rear cap that I presume is for a high pressure cutoff switch. But my original doesn’t have that extra connector and instead has the high pressure cutoff on the line a few inches from the compressor itself. Apart from that, the compressor is a perfect fit.

I’m guessing that I can still use this compressor and simply not connect anything to the rear connector and instead plug the compressor switch in like normal (has the same connector there as the original), and plug the 2nd connect into the connector on the line as it was with the original compressor. Anyone see any problem with this plan?
Aha! One I can answer before somebody else does! I just did the AC system in my 02 and the compressor was like that- but there were instructions included that said exactly that. If your truck has the connector, plug it in. If it doesn’t, don’t worry about it. I guess some do, some don’t so they quit making 2 separate parts.

have you tried disconnecting the battery ground for about 10 minutes? then try again

I haven’t done this specifically to test the TPMS. But I did have the battery disconnected last year for about a week when I was rebuilding the top end. So I guess that counts?

I can try that again tonight maybe

replaced the passenger side mirror, mirror works fine but in the process the triangular trim piece broke a clip off and almost all the door panel clips broke off
so if you plan on pulling door panels off of a 10+ year old vehicle invest in some of these, gm wants about $8 each

Thanks, I needed that!

ya none of the ones at the auto parts store fit at all, they are all too small. I went to 3 stores and couldn't find anything that would work. bought 2 from the dealer and then ordered 12 more and searched the part number online, so the ones I ordered from the dealer are going get returned that was $140 including the $36 triangle trim piece.

and after all that I discover the freaking mirror cap is a slightly different shade of silver, but oh'well f-ik

So the door panel needs to be removed to replace the mirror on the GMT900's?

My gmt800 only needed the triangle piece removed. Mounting nuts and wire plugs all right there

it should go into learn mode and then eventually time out if nothing is synced, I think times out in like 2 minutes if no activity. same nbs, nnbs, k2

My Nissan winter wheels/TPMS don't sync with my Yukon, and just display the dash light after a few minutes, but nothing else.

There should have been an option to disable the TPMS alerts.

How did the world survive before Bluetooth and electromagnetic nannies?

Yes, the harness is clipped to the metal door skin inside in 3 locations and the harness plugs into the passenger door switch
you can disassemble it from the outside if you really wanted to if the mounting base was re used I previously took it apart twice repairing the broken folding gear.
