Contacted GM today and was told "this is subject to change but we are on track to have your vehicle on the production line this week"

Ordered on 12/6: Cherry Red Tahoe 6.2 (Sport Pkg), lux pkg, sliding console & pano moonroof. Submitted by dealer,not yet accepted by GM.

That’s absurd and sucks man. In about 3 weeks you’ll be slotted over to a 2023 order and that means you won’t get your car until the Fall.

Crazy how in 2021 you order a 2022 and wind up with a 2023

10/08….Ordered a Satin Steel Metallic RST, Sport Performance Pack (6.2L and mag ride) luxury package, sunroof, sliding console, 2nd row captains chairs. Submitted 4 days later, and 6 months later still not accepted by GM.

My build other than color is identical to yours, with the same thing. “Submitted but not accepted by GM”, but mine was submitted on 10/12.

They claim there is no allocation issue. I’m #4 in line and upon order was the 1st RST in line.‍

Lucked out, local dealer still hasn't gotten an allocation for an order I placed in January. Someone else backed out of this one from a dealer about an hour away.

I have an identical Denali that had a TPW of 3/28 and similar circumstances (someone backed out so I was able to jump the line). Congrats!

I feel like something is very fishy. 7 months and your order not accepted is really odd considering people lately have been getting an accepted order same week a TPW within 2-4 weeks. And it’s not like you’re waiting for diesel or had RSE in there.

The Sport Performance Package, the Luxury Package, and the sliding console (which is still on constraint for every trim other than the High Country).

Yep….every bit of that build has been on constraint at some time…read somewhere the sliding console was coming back but probably not all trim levels…that may be your biggest hold up

I ordered a Denali, 3.0 with the Reserve Package on 02/14. The dealer called me last week and let me know it was still awaiting GMC acceptance. I asked if it would be a 2023, he said he is 99% sure it will likely be accepted in the next few weeks.

I ordered a Denalimax (Duranali?) early October last year. Diesel, tech package and max tow. Still waiting for GM to pick it up.
Difficulty - small-ish dealer in Canada. Not sure what their allocations are like, but I'm apparently '#1' on the list with them... We'll see. The lack of transparency with the whole dealer allocation, constraints, etc. is the most aggravating thing of all.

If it bumps to 2023 I'm probably out. Not that there's anything else easily available right now.

Called up GM today and I just found out today my car has been produced! I had a TPW of 3/28. They wouldn't give me a VIN# but I kindly asked if they could check. The woman told me the info she provides me depends on the supervisor who answers her call for my request - she said the person she spoke to winded up giving her the last 8 of the VIN, told her my car is in Texas and there's no transit date yet but expected to be put on a train.

This dealership has a very large in stock quantity with 28 Tahoe's arriving next week. Still have the original order so I will see which comes first.

Original was white ...new order is Satin Steel which once I saw in person really grew on me.

Placed my order for a LT with Signature Package, second row power buckets on 2/19. Order was accepted by GM on 3/8, TPW was 3/28, checked with dealer today and it is at 4300 code with a tentative delivery date of 4/22. Hoping that delivery date is met, the wife is getting excited for her new ride.

ordered a z71 suburban 12/16. still have no TPW. satin steel, luxury package and sunroof. z71 is on constraint still, which i'm assuming is my issue. Can't help but be annoyed hearing everyone else who ordered later than me already in their vehicles!
