Flashed an updated BlackBear 91+ octane & 6-speed tune. Did some more data-logging, and sent the file to BlackBear to adjust the current tune. I was having kinda-harsh shifts down low on light-throttle. Plus the new intake needed to have the file tweaked.

I also inquired if an upgraded muffler or cat-back system was worth any sort of performance (torque & throttle response) benefit with an upgraded intake and tune. Maybe you guys can chime in with experience? I suspect the stock exhaust diameter is fine, but a flow-through muffler might help a little bit with more than just a better audio experience.
I would have to think that the two or three cats depending on your year would choke the exhaust more than the muffler. But the stock mufflers don't have a great life expectancy before they sound like a wet fart either. So a cat back isn't a bad idea to get a nice sound and replace stock junk anyway. As far as performance, I would have to think a 3-in would be good for something maybe

Gas is up $1 here I was getting premium for around $4.50 now it's $5.50 a lot of places it's over $6
It’s $4.89 for premium at my station, when I filled up last week it was $4.15. So .75 per gallon more. Glad I don’t drive much anymore. It’s the damn oil companies taking advantage. There’s tens of thousands of oil leases in the US that aren’t in production because they want to keep the price high. And then they sell to China anyway because they’ll pay more for crude. Last year the US oil companies made record profits, this year they’ll really rake it in. They should be forced to sell to the US refineries and the price should be regulated.

Today i managed to remove the winter tires and get them stored away. This morning I went to a buddies house to mount and balance 4 new tires on my set of summer rims (extra set of stock 17s). Me and my 6 y/o son then went to grandmas house and cleared some space in the barn & got them put on. We also did TPMS relearn. Then we took some brake parts cleaner and cleaned the oil pan at the gasket and tightend all the bolts trying to see exactly where its leaking. Everything is ready for new pan gasket and oil cooler block-off plate gasket in the morning before we do the oil change.

Do you walk/ride a bike?

I used to ride/walk to my job in Oakland, and only drove the mile when it rained hard, or there was rioting.
I have, but not regularly, and only when it's nice out. I don't do it much because I've found that I'm usually pretty wore out when I leave work. There are a couple small hills/inclines along the route that made it a bit exhausting to do after work, and the more I get over 50, the quicker I seem to tire out, lol

Anyone else work from home?
I work from home, but still have to conduct some business out & about like doing my daily shipping, I usually only purchase from one place now, pre-covid I would be out much more buying from all over, gas price never really affected me because it's just part of doing business and it still won't to a certain degree it's just less money for other things. I also get to write it off as a tax credit. It's going to add % cost to road trips 26 x 6 $156 (presuming it stops there) analyst say it could hit 7
it does make me wish I had a little beater to run around in but running out to buy a economy car makes no sense, why spend thousands to save $10-20
the math doesn't add up for me and I don't expect it to stay this high for more than a couple more years
