Well here’s some progress pics of the 20” LTZ wheels I got to declad and have powder coated. I love aftermarket rims, but always see certain makes/models fail or crack or have paint defects etc. I figured these are oem rims and may hold up a little better in the long run.

There's one every year but it never materializes.
I try and get out to a couple cars and coffees in west palm, I'll go out to test n tune at track pretty often

Not sure there would be enough time, we can always go again I guess! My kids and their friends all want to run the first Friday in January. Trying to get my plugs and wires and intake gasket done so I can come and play too! Time for some runs on gasoline to see what the tune will do. All the other runs were on E85.

Dropped off to my buddy’s powdercoat shop here in Pompano Beach for an acid bath, pressure clean, then sand blasting and baking and finally some Prismatic Powders “Alloy Silver”. Just picked them up tonight. He nailed it. Now I just have to sort out the TPMS sensors, as one in my Tahoe is now dead since I knicked a curb a few weeks back. Have some Goodyear Eagle LS2’s to mount up once that’s handled. Slowly but surely coming along.

We've met twice before Covid hit. Just small groups of us, 5 or 6 guys. Last meet was supposed to be at Orlando Speedway so fellas up north could attend.

I still after 8 years havent been to a C&C. My buddy JohnnyZ owns and runs that one. I bought one of my first mustangs off him back in 2006.

How'd you get the covers off in 1 piece? Used a plastic chisel to get the remainders off?

I just turned them over and used a short 2x4 and my hammer and gave them a good smack on each opening once and went round and round till they popped off. All 4 came off as one. Then I used some plastic scrapers from Harbor Freight and it all came off fairly easy. Just a little time consuming.

Thanks for the offer. I think I’m going to order some black Depo headlights this week now that I’m back home and need to get some work done on this.
@HansJr pics would be great, and if it's in good shape maybe a price with shipping to 80134? But I see them on the internet new for $25 or $30, so if it's close to that I'd pass and just get one at Upull or online. Thanks for looking!

Finally got the lug nuts in. Also got all new AC Delco TPMS sensors from RockAuto. Hopefully getting those on tomorrow and bringing the rims by my buddies shop to get mounted and road force balanced. Slowly but surely I’ll be making process this week.
They look better in person. Color came out slick!
