I looked at how high my Yukon sits, and...

Does anyone know if NorcalSS is still in business? I came into an unexpected windfall this week, and went to order my lowering kit (2-3/4 w/ Autoride), but his website doesn't properly handle payment any longer. I emailed him directly, but no answer. Aside from piecing together a kit myself, is there any other good option for a one-stop solution?
I would just buy the parts. There’s not that much to it. NorcalSS has been ghosting customers for a long time, I would expect zero customer service from him. There’s no way I would give him any money at this point, you never know when parts would arrive and you could expect zero replies to any questions you ask him about them regardless of how you try to contact him. Not sure what happened, he used to be great to deal with. Must have got too big for his britches.

What Mark said. Someone posted up a set of the BT coils for sale a few days ago, with the spacers for $100/shipped, IIRC. You can get spindles or struts (IMO, go with spindles) and shock extenders from anywhere. Even though they only drop 1.75", I'd still go with McGaughy spindles. I went through a bit of a learning curve with them. But, compared to my neighbor's Tahoe that's dropped on Belltech spindles, I just prefer the McGs. You can get the other common rear drop parts (DJM offset sway bar end links and lower control arm relocators) later, if you decide you want them. You can make your own link rods for the ride height sensors really easily and cheaply. I'd rather ones custom-made for my particular net drop than the one-size-fits-all that comes with the kits. But, if you want 'em, my neighbor has a set of shock extenders and the pre-fabbed sensor link bars for the rear.

Some of the gen3/4 5.3 were LC9, LH8, LH9, LS4(different bellhousing bolt pattern for front wheel drive), I think they were a few more I'm forgetting
Speaking of the LS4, there is a guy on YouTube by the name John Reynolds grafting one of those and transaxle into a Chevy Corvair. He’s an off road racer, king of the hammers, etc.

it’s a very interesting project from a fabrication standpoint.

To the guys with a Denali or Escalade can you take a look at the trim piece cover under the arm rest. I need the part number on it. Need 2 of them in black. I ordered the wrong part and they don’t fit

what trim piece? photo?
The piece below ya armrest that holds in 2 bolts that attach the door panel to the door. This piece is from a Tahoe, but the Denali’s and Escalades are smaller.

Doesn't appear to have a part number, mine on my 2012 has a rev number looks like dn0sajjman50? maybe it's pretty small and is likely just a date/time code
this is what it looks like though

I'm pretty sure he was the vendor I bought CK375 reps from him back in 2014 and they arrived completely fcked. I would give a negative star rating if possible LOL. Idk how you ship something out in that condition with a straight face.

Well, these responses take care of that question, before I even asked it.
Thanks folks!
