I just learned how to use a wideband with out pro features!

You can add it in hp tuners to a laptop via usb to serial adapter.

Apparently you can also log your fueling map and it will make corrections that you can paste into your actual fueling map!

My ebl flash does that, but it also writes it to the tune file for you.
I wish hp tuners was that slick.

I still have a loooong ways to go, but things are already making more sense.

Eta, you can replace your narrow band with them and wire a harness from the little processor deal to the orignal harness.
But the recommended is to install a **** just for the wideband.

Goat rope garage on youtube.
I really need to be in the mood for it tho.
GRG ftw. Between that and the book from ERM performance it’s cake. No pro features here and I used an aem wideband that uses obd2 so it can poll faster. 30-0334 is the part number. Goes between the cars obd2 and hptuners. Lambda lambda lambda!

They sell cans of transmission cooler flush at the auto parts stores, just hook it up to the line and push a button until it's empty. Super easy. What kind of a flush tool do you have?
Those rockers weren't what I was envisioning, I was thought they'd be more like the Yella Terra's I put in my 02, shaft mount. Those should be good though. I was told mine add 25 HP, don't know if that's true.
Why did you modify the rocker covers? Is that necessary with the Comp Cams rockers? I know, too many questions. Sorry, I'm bored waiting on stuff.View attachment 343690

I have an ac flush tool that i use to flush lines.
I also have my old ac flush tool that is now an ls oil priming tool.

I use mineral spirits as a flush most of the time.
Paint thinner is what i used for the radiator and the parts that flowed metal.
I had it on hand for the rocker cleanup.

The line flush stuff is just that, but in a compressed air can.
Makes more sense to just use that vs one of those flush cans.
Dollar per dollar that is.

I'm out of paint thinner, and the trans lines will be flushed with mineral spirits.
I alsways have that on hand for use with my ultrasonic cleaner. ;)

Happen to have a link to that book?

And i have a wideband for my vette, the innovative 2 one.
Got it for a great deal on Amazon years ago.
Was a sealed box return, little more than 50% off.

I have spent way more than that in o2 sensor replacements since then.
Seems to be a common complaint.

I'm thinking about grabbing the aem one vs gutting it from the vette.

I also want the gauge as a reference.

Only thing holding me back is that i need a second o2 sensor **** on one of the sides.

And that means the y pipe needs to come off for my welder.

I think the gauge will also help me think in lambda... lol

Other forums the staff has already corrected whatever PC update from Silicon Valley produced this amusing interlude. I haven’t seen any indication yet the gang here is doing anything. Perhaps I’ve missed it, or are they just a ***** of **** ********?

It’s amazing how underdeveloped people are anymore.

If everyday you attend school, at every level of school, it is drilled into you than anything you say can trigger someone, somewhere in the world and there is no sin greater than triggering another individual, well...

Prosperity is an amazing thing. When mixed with human nature, it is also a fleeting thing.

Looks nice. What part of the country? I’ve been thinking about buying a small trailer. How do you like that pop up?
Right by the Santa Ynez River sort of Central Coast California.

The trailer is actually my friends. We just used the Tahoe instead of her car because we were bringing so much other stuff... And I have this thing packed with the driver side seats folded forward all the way up to the ceiling all the way through.
I usually just sleep in the back of the Tahoe.
But she said she loves it, way better than sleeping in a tent. She pulls it with a little Chevy equinox.

They are really convenient being so small and light. But since we have a fair amount of towing capacity. I would just try and get a regular camping trailer that way you can actually store things in it and you have room for a generator somewhere and air conditioning and heating that works really well refrigerator, all the amenities.

This little pop up trailer has it, but the heater and AC only works so well given that the walls are canvas. There's no toilet, very small water tank... She actually bought it from my coworkers in-laws. And I thought it was in a lot better shape than it actually is. It's an '06, and it has some electrical Gremlins and a number of other issues that I slowly been working on.

I’m guessing @Shaggy is buried in a lot of details with the tweaks to the upgrade.
