Have you replaced the vent valve by the spare tire? Yes

Those pellets can be a real challenge to get all of them out. They bounce.

We used a rag wrapped around a blow gun attachment on a shop air hose to seal around the filler neck while putting pressure in the tank with the lines disconnected from the charcoal canister. I tried this, but I wasn't getting a very good seal. There was definitely an evacuation after the first attempt, but after that it seemed I got more pellets out from shaking the line than trying to blow through the tank.

We also blew air from the purge solenoid on the engine back towards the canister, which it sounds like you have already done. Correct. This was where the pellets seemed to come back out the way I blew air in. Maybe another blockage causing backpressure forcing the pellets out the way the air came in?

If you have someone to help you can have them hold their thumb/finger over the end of the hoses at the canister to completely or partially block off the flow to increase the pressure. I'll have to convince the wife to be involved. She will likely injury or frighten herself.

Persistence usually pays off. I haven't reached angry enough for this to be a priority yet, but it is fast approaching.

I know this new forum "upgrade" is gonna be great but 8 can't figure out how to quote multiple posts. Before I could hit the "quote" buttons under each post I wanted to quote and then there was an option at the bottom of my post to "quote these messages" and I could chose which posts to add.

I can still hit the quote button under a post but can't figure out how to add them to my post. If I hit the " button it doesn't show me the posts I selected.

Replies above in red.

Whatever this upgrade is, Tapatalk doesn't like it.

I figured out the multiple quotes... I guess you just can't add them after the fact.

Ordered more sensors.
New OEM MAP sensor, and knock sensors.
I also broke the little MAP sensor retainer, so i ordered one of those too.

so when the engine goes back in, I have a new crank sensor, cam sensor, knock sensors, and map sensor.

Might as well toss in a new MAF sensor...

Hmm, works fine on my phone.

It works fine on mine too... as long as I grabbed the quotes first before starting a reply.

When I tried to go back and get quotes after I had already started a reply it wouldn't allow me to insert them earlier. It appears to be working now. I know they are/were still working out a few bugs.

Pretty sure my battery took a dump. Slow cranked after work. Though I was paranoid. Woke up to go pick kid up, major slow crank but it fired. Let it run for half hour after. 20 min later went to drive and damn thing was dead enough to not turn over. Hooked up charger. Found having connection issues so unhooked battery and put the charger on that way. Been over 18 hours damn thing still not fully charged. I also checked to see if it would run by disconnecting the negative while it was on. Alternator passed. I initially thought something was draining the battery.

How old a battery and what type?
