This 6" one was too short to bother with the mesh, so it's all heat shrink:

It runs from the engine block (at the bolt for the power steering pump bracket) to the frame (under an engine mount bolt):

Copied the factory alternator-to-main fuse cable:

With very minor trimming of the mount on the firewall, the lug fit fine:

Followed the original routing and was even able to slip the terminal boot on after a little squirt of B'laster:

I want to replace the battery terminals with some marine post-to-stud adapters. I'll make the positive lead from the battery to the main fuse when I get those terminals. I'd like to make a starter wire as well.

Nice work. Those cables are huge.

When are you going to start taking orders for that Big 3 kit?
Is there a Intro Group Buy price?!?! :)

I'm in !

Side note : After the swap to the 6.2 the Tahoe was acting up throwing random codes etc. After trying to diagnose the codes we decided to throw on a few more ground wires ... worked and ran great ever since.

I'd like the chance to go ahead and upgrade the positive side also.

I was on that train a while ago and sold at like 14cents kicking myself in the butt now. Have a few hundred purchased a few days ago but nothings exciting.

I'm sitting on a nice chunk.......that was the money for my 6.2 build. Wise investment I'm up over 110%. I'm waiting for the dip after it hits a dollar and I will buy another 10k coins

110% gains that means you can buy both of us a 6.2 now :Big Laugh:. Seriously tho Crypto has amazed me since 2014 if I was smart back then I'd be a lot better off now lol. I'm hodling everything for a long time now.

No more cluttering up this thread tho :sorrysign:

I was kinda thinking this, would be easy to replicate them since you have the OEM cables off.

Hell yeah. Great idea!

HOLD UP!

Y'all see how slow this thread gets updates! I ain't got no time fo dat! I considered it, though. If I didn't have the materials, I'd probably buy the kit from Sky High Audio.

Where is said kit? Link please. Also do you still have the factory cables? Maybe someone else is interested in making them
