Hi Tony hey yeah.

Was like about 2.30 am and the wife woke me as the house was creaking and moving in a slow relaxed movement. She could tell it was a long way away by the way it rolled.

Turns out quake happened about 105 km off the EastCoast of the North island at a depth of 90 km.
Tsunami warnings for eastern bay's but only really impacted northern beaches with slightly larger waves than normal.

Parents had no large sea movement where they live at le bons bay.

Huge amount of 5ish mag aftershocks along 50km of fault line heading further off shore up to 150km off shore.

Thanks for reaching out Brotha [emoji106]

Wow. Are quakes somewhat normal-ish for you guys? A few months ago we had a small tremor in my area of NJ--which isn't a normal thing for us. It was really small. I actually thought it was a truck driving through my block lol. Glad you guys made it through unscathed.

That’s great to hear. Amazing how much you felt even that far down south. Glad to hear the parents faired well.

Thanks man.
Yes Good to hear from the olds that everything okay with them.

A lot of the north island's quakes are typically very deep. 80-100 km deep or
50-60 miles where as the quakes we suffered here in Canterbury 10 years ago were getting as shallow as 6km.

Is funny how you can forget the title'

Just saw this guy. The RAM emblem on the tailgate lights up with the brakes, and the plastic is severely yellowed. There are also little lights in the ends of those sweet bed rails! (Also very yellowed) And the tails.. well, I suppose they speak for themselves. But hey, it’s a “4X4HEMI”!! (Apologies for the terrible picture quality)

Spotted this CLEAN NNBS at the Depot....turns out the owner was the guy in front of me in line. We had a nice chat about tahoes for a little bit.

And then this was parked next to me, NNBS on 2020 silvy wheels

So there were 3 NNBS tahoes, all with similar tint and non-stock wheels in a row at the Depot haha.
