Replaced the headlight bulbs on our 2013 Denali. Went with some LED bulbs I found on Amazon. Will see how they look at night and how they last. I figured for $40, why not.

I went with these in my 16(H11). No issues, and brighter than stock halogens, but I'll likely be upgrading to HIDs regardless.

Do you have enough space under the brace rod to ope n that can?

Not enough to be easy to get stuff out of. Maybe a 2-3 inches of space. Kinda want to remove the rod but idk if thatd be a great idea haha

No, there is not enough room. I was going to make mine easily removed by unstrapping it.

How about if you put a 90 degree--or more bend in it, but leave it bolted in.

I was thinking kinda the same thing. Take measurements and have a piece of heavy sheet metal cut to replace the brace, but shape it to allow for the lid of the ammo can to be opened in place. You might have to bend a flange on it to give it enough rigidity. But it should be possible. Bonus points if you incorporate a way to hold the ammo can lid open somehow.

You know how the lid slides off the hinge when opened fully, I wonder if it could be modified to allow it to slide off when at a lower point.

It can. Contemplated that and had figured the angle to cut it.
Honestly it is a pretty poor use of space there and I was thinking about continuing to look for a different box. May make one some day.

I really want one of these.

I lucked out on this one, a local supplier sold the Setina and Go Rhino. This Go Rhino one had smutz on it. Grease n crap in it, the shop offered it to me for 1/2 off. I jumped at it, brought it home washed it and installed it.

When looking for these make sure you use the part # I posted. They offer ones that are not as sturdy.
