I was wondering if it was gaining experience on the first side. I ask because I am likely going to be doing this on the wife’s Yukon soon.
My wife was chiding my for not taking it to the shop.

I had tie rod ends replaced on the Other Twin recently. $800. Then I learned the parts are 200-250. The did the alignment in house, but still.

How long did you have to wait for everything to be done?

He had to order the gauge face which took a couple weeks. He’s local to me so I drove over there and it only took him about 45 mins

I finally installed my Go Rhino push bar model 5160 along with a set of Hella lights and a 32” light bar on the front of my truck. Pics in a day or two, it’s currently covered in salt and snow with the nor’easter rolling in here today/ tomorrow.

Was fortunate enough to re use the upfitters wiring in the truck to power all the lights. Last set will have to be independently wired, I have no wiring to the stock fog light area.

On order is the leather steering wheel with the radio controls and cruise. My wheel is shot.

I remember a while back that one of us were thinking of putting a battery box in place in front of the fuse panel, to keep jump cables and a few odds n ends in there.

I bought a battery box from Tractor Supply, doesn’t fit to tall and wide. You can get the box in there but the lid won’t fit under the bracket from the core support to the fender. That and the washer bottle neck twists the box so it’s not square any longer.

Anyone else have luck with one? If so where did you get it?

I've read that a 50 cal. ammo can will work there

That guy is me. Yes, a 50 cal can fits. I have the can but didn’t get around to mounting it. It needs a spacer under it because it doesn’t fit the tray perfectly. I was thinking of using some rubber feet and a web strap to hold it down. I will revisit this someday.

Replaced the headlight bulbs on our 2013 Denali. Went with some LED bulbs I found on Amazon. Will see how they look at night and how they last. I figured for $40, why not.
