put some thought into what to do with the fuel pump relay, since it seems ive lost another.
i had been looking for a time delay off relay to keep them from "chattering", but most are only 10-20amp. would like atleast 30amp for big pump. appears most relays are rated higher on the NC side also

being that i could only really find on-delay relays, i figured i would swap out the hobbs switch with one that i could wire normally closed. and would "open" with a few psi.

fuel pump will be wired on the normally close side of the delay relay, this means when the hobbs is in no boost it will energize the time delay relay, holding open the circuit to the fuel pump - this means the relay will stay energized for the majority of the time but it will have zero load on it. as it goes into boost, hobbs switch will change state removing the trigger to the fuel pump relay (returning it to its NC state) energizing the fuel pump. any "blips" that happen will turn on the pump for a minimum of 10sec to keep it from chattering.

and if that doesnt last, its going to end being on all the time or something i guess till i find a better way to turn it on

welp, ground wire for the relay coil broke off at the connector in the base, had it all taped up to where it was kinda still touching. i think it killed the hobbs switch thats in there cause its just always on at this point. mounted the relay on the firewall and cleaned up the wiring a little. will still be waiting on a new hobbs switch i guess. i disconnected it but can still turn it on with the switch in the dash

trying to get the idle/ac on tuning tightened up. it seemed to want about 5% more fuel across the board so thats what i gave it. bumped up the base airflow a little, made the warm up rpm a little more aggressive. sucks cause you have you start it let it run all the way up to temp with one change. let it sit till its about cold again and run another change all the way up to temp :banghead:
a little protection for the hose going to in front of the radiator, it may have gone thru a 1-1/2 metallic chase nipple, but i was planning on getting them in pvc and the hose with the connector wouldnt go thru so i knocked it out to 2"
