Reinstalled the spare. I was gonna lube the spare hoist assembly and cable, but decided I didn't want all that mess in addition to having to change the tire next time I have a flat.

It all looked fine:

...And operated fine. I can turn the hoist by hand (using two fingertips with pinky extended because I'm a civilized Neanderthal):

Just took out the second row altogether cuz I've always wanted a Tahoe coupe. Have my compressors, manual valves, amps and RGB LEDs screwed to a sheet of plywood back there. Makes for easy access to the hose clamps when trying to slow the leaks! #builtnotbought

Anyone know where the door seals part numbers? I’m getting that open window feel when driving on highway. Want to replace them. One that goes around the body of each door. Not the whole door opening front and back.

@Doubeleive should know this. I think he recently replaced some of his
can't find my order anywhere, but I did the ones that attach to the body and go from the bottom of the front window and along the roof and down the back of the back door, those were super easy.
these are the inner door seals I think, usually left & right part number is simply a swap of the last number like (left) 22766409 / (right) 22766410

it's number #2 in this photo, goes on the body

the #1 is the ones I did already
That’s exactly what I was looking for. #2. Thanks. Ordered. I’ll take it one step at a time to solve the wind problem. If I need the outer I’ll order that one too.

btw how did you find the diagram? I looked at gm parts direct.com and couldn’t find it.

I can usually find a part number pretty easily by typing in the description of what I am looking for on ebay, then search visually for what I want then I verify fitment in the item description, usually the gm part number is listed in the item details, copy and paste the part number into ebay/amazon/rockauto and find the lowest price, in this case it was amazon because I have a business resale account, (no tax) and free shipping for any total over $35 99% of the time.

once I have the gm part number I can punch that in google, then search for images to confirm where it goes.

you can also go to the acdelco website and punch in your vin number and search that way but I generally find it easier to do like I described.
