Finally.... The crank and heads arrived! Now I can send the block, crank, rods and pistons off to the machine shop for bore and balancing. With luck, I may have this running before the end of the year!!

The new block and rotating assembly leave for the machine shop tomorrow. Hopefully by the end of the week the assembly begins...
I got the old engine completely torn down, and nothing looks too bad, except for the one cylinder.

All the measuring and cleaning are done, assembling starts at the end of this week. I am also waiting on my Circle D converter. I decided with the cam I'm putting in, and the known 6L80 torque converter failures, figured I better upgrade that now. In the mean time, I've updated Blackbear about the converter since replacing it wasn't part of my original plan, so that update should come in the next few weeks. I'm so anxious it's all coming together, I miss my hoe!
