Came out great. I didn't know they could cut drilled/slotted rotors. Who can cut them again?rotors came out nice, he charged me $17 each said the bigger rotors are usually $27 but he gave me a deal, now i just need to order some more of the new copper free pads like I put on the Silverado they work pretty good whatever the new material is they use it bites well.

I took them to a semi-truck machine shop/parts shop, he said he doesn't know why other places wont turn them he has no problem doing them, that place is a new candy store I will have to go back to they have some nice commercial led's lights and indicators and tools and cleaners and waxes and all kinds of goodies in there.Came out great. Nice. I gotta remember that. I bought some drilled and slotted for my 03. I've yet to put them onI took them to a semi-truck machine shop/parts shop, he said he doesn't know why other places wont turn them he has no problem doing them, that place is a new candy store I will have to go back to they have some nice commercial led's lights and indicators and tools and cleaners and waxes and all kinds of goodies in there.
I normally just buy new rotors but this a 15" upgrade kit new ones are about $275 each, they are pretty thick and he barely took anything off so if I manage to not warp them they should last me a while and they can be done again if needed.Nice. I suspect it’s a mix of the machine and the operator. I think the right rpm and tool speed would work just fine if you don’t take too much off at a time. I wouldn’t hesitate to turn em if I had a lathe.I took them to a semi-truck machine shop/parts shop, he said he doesn't know why other places wont turn them he has no problem doing them, that place is a new candy store I will have to go back to they have some nice commercial led's lights and indicators and tools and cleaners and waxes and all kinds of goodies in there.

I’m still undecided on pads and rotors for the NNBS upgrade on my ‘03 Yukon. (Plus, I still need to clean up and paint the calipers. Lol. Hate doing that stuff in 100 degree weather.. ) I was considering the Powerstop Z36 kit. I’ve been really happy with their Carbon / Ceramic pads, so that’s a win, but not sure about the rotors. I tend to warp smaller rotors (like my civic) but definitely don’t want any noise or brake dust.Nice. I gotta remember that. I bought some drilled and slotted for my 03. I've yet to put them on![]()
Can’t you see me Tony?
I am at the shop waiting for my oils change.
About a month ago when we had that record flooding this parking lot was under water. It didn’t make it into the waiting room floor here but it did get it he shop floor. And behind my truck there in the street behind that fence any cars there were flooded and or floating.
