Grinding/Clicking noise during hard acceleration or hard cornering

I'm sure its either my shocks or axle. Any suggestions on how to test to differentiate which? It seems to come from only driver front or both front sides. Truck too big and i think these shocks too advanced to do the bounce test.

That sounds more like hubs or bearings to me. Clicking? Once, twice, or constantly until you let off?

Does sound like, depending on the consistency and volume, could be the hub bearing(s). Going straight down a smooth road, move the steering wheel from 12 to 2 and to 10. Going to 10 loads the right front bearing and the opposite for moving wheel to 2. How many miles on the rig?

while moving, it doesnt make the sound if you WOT. It only happens when you start from a still or very slow pace then go kind of hard or harder. I'll try to get it on video.

After listening again, its not really a grind you would hear form a bearing. Its more like a rub and as you floor it, it keeps the sound until a certain speed, it goes away. It was hard for me to hear it in the video though. Its like a rub of some sort, not a grind. Almost like springs are rubbing.

Just watched the video again and its kind of useless lol because the sound is a little covered by the intake and wind....but its definitely there

Few things I discovered.

1) Sound only comes from driver side no matter what angle I accelerate at
2) It sounds more like a RUB and vibration rather than a grind
3) May still be hard to hear in video but you can hear how car is a little louder in the begining of the acceleration. Accelerations at faster speeds dont cause this and I can avoid the rub by easing on the gas instead of going so hard.

I would check for a broken stud at the exhaust manifold at the head. I would also get the motor mounts inspected.

I just replaced with a Hummer H3 mount on driver side few months ago. I dont see the engine jumping but will do the motor mount tests. Regarding exhaust, you think the exhaust is moving? I'm glad you not even thinking axle or suspension.

My next guess is the front axle or transfer case inspection. The exhaust is not moving but if the mount studs are broken where the manifold is bolted to head, the exhaust leaks out and causes noise. Is more noticeable when accelerate.

Would bad axle or transfer case make that sound no matter when you accelerate? If so, maybe we can eliminate because it doesnt happen when truck is already moving at a descent speed.

It always depends on the severity and source of the problem. It is an AWD after all.

Front diff? I'm thinking around 30-50k miles but the transfer case was done under 20k miles ago. I rarely ride in AWD or even Auto. I normally drive in 2WD and thats how i'm driving in the video.

Drivers side axle. excessive play? broken/fractured cage allowing one of the ball bearings to migrate. You should be able to see some evidence of rubbing/movement on whatever component is making that noise. are you sure the trans mount is good? also the awd shaft to front diff? which is right under your seat, when it makes the sound can you feel it hit the chassis?

I don't know, but I would think if something is rubbing when the weight trsnsfers, you'd think you would see some evidence. Have you given it a good lookover (under) with a jack lifting the front a little to duplicate the weight transfer?

Yes I can feel it under me or in the feet area. I will check further and update you
