Is what I found, are they all being built better now?

What year and model is your truck? I see 19331336, 19331337 and 19331338 for the 08 Tahoe and Suburban. You should add your vehicle info in your sig. And yes they’re all reinforced now afaik.

this is what I came up with for my 2011 Denali. I'm not even 100% sure if it's correct

Looks right to me. What kills you is the shipping. I found mine in EBay and they had cheap shipping. These dealers want $200-250 to ship the dash. It does come in a giant box, I have to admit but there’s almost no weight.

You don't need the extension (that first item). If yours is fine re-use it
Yeah you find out as soon as you pop it off, mine broke at nearly every clip. It was as brittle as the main dash.

Don’t the reinforced ones still crack?
I do not have any data on that. I do know that I also epoxied 1/8” steel rods across those areas before I installed mine and also protect it from the sun. But I haven’t heard of any of the ones installed in the last few years cracking, but keep in mind it took quite awhile for the first ones to crack originally, usually after the warranty expired. We probably won’t know about the new design for a few more years, also I’m not sure exactly when they started reinforcing them.
