Hi there guys. I bought a 2011 tahoe ppv and the Dash panel its all cracked and with the police console. I've been thinking in swapping the Dash panel and console for a 2015-2020. I've already taken measure and i would need to make minor adjustments but my bigger concern its if all the other electronics would work. What you think about this project?

I think it would be great!
Unlikely any electronics from the '15+ would work.. (cluster, hvac, radio)
I'd love to be wrong though..

The 2015 was a completely new refresh with a lot of changes but I guess anything is possible.

You'd have to figure out a way to make the instrument cluster and everything work. You'd probably end up having to change over all the wiring and modules to the newer ones.

Yeah. I guess it would require a lot of time and thinking to not messing it up. Its a pity, the upgrade would be awesome.

it wouldn't work, completely different operating system, nothing would talk to each other.
the radio, cluster and steering wheel have there own dedicated "most" buss
that's just the tip of the iceberg
better off just ditching the gmt900 if you want the k2
