Stock pump is good to about 450 HP so unless you're going with twin turbos you're fine. Superchargers will come with a pump as part of the kit if needed. Yours is a 2003 so there isn't a fuel filter under the driver seat inline is there?
Yes, that's where my filter is--around.

That's a bummer fuel pumps are never the most fun thing to swap. There is a company that makes a full direct drop in bucket with upgraded pumps if you feel the need to do so.

The link is to the dodge version but they offer one for GM trucks and SUVs as well. This will be my choice when the time comes, but if you do forsee big power then I see no need.

I do. This was replaced about 7k miles ago.
I would still replace it and the FPR too since it’s under the hood like George said. Mine had an issue at one point and I was able to buy a rebuild kit but I don’t remember how I found that.

That’s cool. Good to start with them i suppose, then do the pump if necessary. Looks like this is the one:
