Wow. The VIN should depict that you have a 2008, unless they looked at the door sticker and saw a 9/07- 12/07 and thought it was an 07.

That's crazy, hopefully this will fix it.

Oh, the vin number on the door sticker clearly states 2008 and the manufacture month as 10/08. There is absolutely no chance that they could have gotten it wrong except for negligence on their part or their computer system has the wrong information. Either way it is clear negligence and/or incompetence on their part. I just hope that it didn't damage the FPCM or anything else associated with it.

Either way, I'm going to sue the crap out of them for direct and inconsequential damages if they don't make it right and fix any consequential damage to the vehicle.

i really hope the correct part number works for you.

I have personally run, mostly temporary just to get stuff back in service, but pumps for non pwm systems in pwm systems and they worked just fine. I don't believe the aftermarket fuel pumps even list what type of system youre going to use the pump it.

I'll be surprised if this fixes it for you, but fingers crossed it does. I can definitely feel your frustration. and while I did with junk new parts daily, just had to repin a motor speed sensor this morning, because it came out of the box not reading anything, checked the wire colors and all 4 in the wrong spot. repin and alls good. but that said, 7 bad pumps just isn't really a thing, 2 I'd believe. which is still 2 to many but you definitely have another issue.

also, a inline pump can be tied into the same wires running to the intank pump and run off the pwm signal to control pressure. they sell a fuel sock that has a barbed fitted so you don't need an in tank pump. I started doing this on equipment at work that sits for long times between uses. got sick of dropping 50gal full tanks completely full over a pump dying from sitting for a month or 2 between uses. switching to a inline pump allowed for quick swap when needed. mostly Ford stuff, but same pwm returnless style systems.
