@wjburken @Sam Harris @Onebad1983 thanks guys that truly means a lot!! It’s been a long Road to where it’s at now. I just need to get more attention to detail on my paint. :worthy:Aka need to take the time to cut and buff it. As of last Friday I have my own take home work truck now though so the Tahoe is not gonna be my during the week driver anymore. so that’s near the top on the list to get done. One thing I have been avoiding and need to stop avoiding :emotions34::Rant:

Woohoo front lip came in and is on. Had to trim about 1/4-1/2 in off the ends cause it was a little long. Since only the 05-06 lower valances have the mounts for these I had to use self tappers and zip ties to hold it on but it’s on there And seems sturdy. Gonna have to watch for the front lip now on curbs.

luckily i have had a lot lower vehicles before so hopefully I won’t rip mine off . my girl would kick my ass if I ever scraped her lowered tc’s lip on anything so I still get practice being careful when she lets me drive that she got her new wheels though it’s looking good

Not much of an update. Been mainly trying to gain on the meter with this thing. It’s been fighting me and doesn’t want to do 155 sealed. Testing testing and more testing. Gotten closer. added some 45’s in the enclosure to shrink it down a touch cause it’s a little big for what the subs want space wise. Also pulled the top of my dash off and put some sound deadener on the bottom of it. Might keep it from
Breaking more and less rattling this way. If Oregon goes into quarantine I’ll have a couple of weeks of being able to work on this thing though hahah. oh and if anyone was curious here is how I mounted the front lip

Got an update, feel like it’s been forever haha.

Front rotors have been shot for months now. Damn near getting death wobble while braking.

got an email from advance auto that they were having a sale so I ended up saving around 120 bucks doing it now.

full nnbs front brake setup
Ceramic pads, new calipers, and severe duty rotors. Definitely could feel the difference after the swap. Not absolutely insane difference of course but it is so much better and braking is smooth again.

also replaced my fuel filter. Glad I did because the output side was loose. Don’t think it was leaking but not the best thing to find. I changed it out so it’s purely my fault. Mistakes happen though just glad I found it.

Had one of the first bigger nw audio competitions today. Managed to pull first in two classes and got my very first best in show award so that was pretty awesome. Ordered a 05-06 lower front lip which came in today so hopefully can get it put on tomorrow!View attachment 242541

It was at the harbor freight in Salem off of Portland rd. It was right when gatherings couldn’t be more than 250 so they kinda had it regulated. We weren’t really demoing much just competing. And thank you at least made the last show for awhile worth it lol.

Tackled my indicator lights on the esky cluster last night. The turn signals, cruise, and high beam indicators are all twist lock with small bulbs though. Attempted to make my own with the 3mm leds but they weren’t wanting to connect correctly so first hit of bass and probably would quit working. That’s alright though I ordered new ones with blue led bulbs which might be here this week. For now got the rest swapped out and just left the factory in for those. For some reason my 4wd indicator won’t light up though. Have to look into that later not super worried since I rarely have it in 4wd anyways.

Yes I agree. Need to order some different stuff and find out what works well. Was talking with @05Single about it. Gotta do some testing with that since no one will tell what they use cause it has to be such a big secret:emotions34:
