1997 2 Door Yukon Gt - Marbella, Spain

Im new to the site and new to GMC / Chevy Trucks.

Just bought this 1997 2 Door Yukon GT with 55k miles, one owner car impoted into Spain in 97.

I plan to use this as my day to day detailing truck - bear in mind everyone here has water and power so its a clean role.

Just picked up some new hubcaps to update the scratched ones and aside from a few minor items i think its a good one.

I must say its in great shape not only for the year but given its located in Spain which notorious for being ******* cars.

Everything works. Theres nothing missing. Drives great and so on.

Looking forward to rocking up to my clients in it in a few weeks time.

Question, did they make / sell many of the GT? I cannot seem to find any information.

Yes, 1 owner from new, not entirely sure where it was purchased in 1997, soon after it went to Murcia, Spain. Owned by a US car / bike enthusiast.

The handbooks, tools, spare etc is all in tact, the electricals all work, documented miles through the annual inspection process here which is pretty tough plus bills / invoices etc.

The interior is incredible for it's age, no marks on the seats, dash is as new, the headliner is tight, carpets are perfect.

At first, I thought I'd done all the money on this car at $14,000, but there's none here - to import one from the US or a 2-Door Blazer or Tahoe would cost the same when you take into account the cost of import, transport and what have you.

I'm not a stranger to Chevrolet, I've owned some interesting C2 corvettes both here, the UK and my 10 year stint in the US - still loving you guys and your cars / trucks 30 years since I first step foot on US soil.

I will update you when I pick it up and put it to good use.

Welcome to the forum! I love the 2 door Yukon’s! Just really cool rides in general! And welcome from another mobile auto detailer here as well! I detail out in Southern California and I use my Yukon XL as my detail rig. The space in these things for all the gear is awesome! Cheers to detailing and making lots of cars pretty! Haha
