Then sealed up with morimoto retrorubber, first time using it. Very easy to work with but can be very messy if your not careful after reheating the housing to attach the lens back on.

Then med cut , polish , then wax for a final product. Letting everything dry for a couple days before install. Next are the nightmare of finally retrofitting the headlights.

Just something different. Bought the turn signals for $20 free shipping off of eBay. But then of course for me $15 shipping
Just something that’s never been done before so I wanted to try it out and have fun with them. I think they turned out pretty cool.

New spyder tails. Love the look and quality. Hate that only the top part lights up and the bottom is turn signal only. I heard there’s a thread on the interwebs about wiring the bottom with the top as both running lights.
But either way I still like the look of them. Smoked red looks good with the blue.View attachment 232154
Where you get these from?

For you who don’t remember I bought some acme mini H1 projectors for a retro fit back in May..... of 2018
This is where I tore them apart.

And here we are now. Was a pain to separate the lenses from the brittle housings. Then during the earthquake the passenger side headlight fell off the shelf and cracked and eventually broke I half. So I had to clamp it back together and use fiberglass to hold the two pieces together and I weld to fill in the crack left behind :banghead: (no pics of it split in half)

I’ve gotten this far and Im gonna finish these devil lights!!! It’s a good quality but can also be a huge flaw in a person lol. I probably at this point should’ve gave up.
Then after getting everything smoother out I fully painted the housings black and colormatched the shrouds. At first I was going to black out the shrouds too but last minute changed it up. Which in the end didn’t matter because with the black the blue is very hard to pick out.

That’s weird-my Spyder tails which look almost the same except they’re smoked light up all the way down.
Edit: I see mine have a different led arrangement.

That’s interesting! I kinda like it! I wonder if they make a version for the Denali. Cuz there aren’t any other options that I’ve come across for the Denali turn/corner lights that’s LED other than just sticking LED bulbs in the housing. Which I don’t want to do yet because that means four separate resistors to make my front turns signals LED, and that’s a lot of wiring! Which I don’t want to do....
Do the 03’s have a separate flasher like my 02 does or is it built into the BCM? Because I was able to use an electronic flasher in mine and not have to install resistors on the turn signals.

Yes. All nbs trucks have a separate flasher. Can buy an aftermarket one meant for leds or just clip an ear off the factory one
