You didn’t state 91 without ethanol thus the confusion so I thought you were talking normal premium. We don’t have that option except at a very few stations, our normal premium is 91-92 octane but with ethanol. The stations that have clear have normal premium too. West coast has the highest gas prices in the lower 48. Highest is Cali, then Washington, then Oregon. Lucky us. At least in Oregon we just sit in the car and an attendant fills the tank.

Up until a few years ago, you could get 87 octane with 0% ethanol, 89 octane with “up to 10% ethanol” and if you could find it, 91 octane with 0% octane.

Its always nice when the pump kicks off, and you remove the nossle, and give it a shake and another little splash comes out. Thats like several engine rotations you just got for free

i'm just over here like umm.... what's a good cat temp? lol, @80 mph mine are 1600deg's, idling for a bit there 7/800deg can't seem to find any definitive answer, can anyone with a tech2 take some data on there cat temps on the freeway and let me know what you are getting. just if you happen to be going somewhere or whatever, not trying to occupy anyone's time and no rush i'm just curious for my own piece of mind.

On the highway cruising at 75-80 mph mine are 1475-ish and if going up a slight hill will get around 1500. If I accelerate about half throttle like to pass a vehicle it gets up to 1550 or so. I'm sure if I pushed it harder or floored it I could get into the 1600's.

I'm pretty sure my entire exhaust it OE

Actually, it's a little splash that you've already paid for and you're just getting it rather than leaving it in the hose for the next guy. The fuel in the hose has already been metered.

That must be why gas/e85 can all come from the same hose and diesel has to have a seperate one. Cause if last guy got 87 octane, the tube has 87 in it.
