I FINALLY got my new wheels and tires mounted. They're Escalade Platinum edition 22s, custom powder coated a color I call hyper grey. The Caddy center caps will get replaced soon. And ignore how dirty the truck is. Now all I need to do is add lowness (and trim my bushes...sheesh!).

Those turned out very nice.

It's a 2006 Yukon XL 5.3 4:10 and hd towing package . Anyone know best air bags ? Is it worth $10 for Firestone air bags for rear ? I have towed with a 2001 suburban LT with HD towing 3:73 12,000 lb trailer. So ya I'm guy that tell ya the limit of a suburban/ Yukon .. my Yukon XL will be the best it can be . I did find out suburban 2001 did great at 9000 lb load it's weakness was it needed truck tires P tires are just to soft . That's where set of towing tires came in for the 2006 Yukon XL it fix that squishy problem ... I was using weight distribution hitch .. so I need air bags on 2006 .

On second coat of filler primer .. has anyone wet sanded color ( going to be black ) before hitting with clear coat .. or after primer do I hit with black then hit with clear coat .. steel rims are being a bit tricky with cooler weather.

If you need to sand the color to fix something, you're supposed to shoot it again before clear, afaik. Then sand the clear.

I'm going to try that .. and way I understand it I can use like 2000 grit on clear coat . Then hit with polish . I need to get one of them handles for the spray can to get color perfect for clear coat ..I will send pictures either way Doom or success. [emoji41][emoji106][emoji1258]

Changed my oil using the fumoto oil plug today. Super easy and no mess. Took maybe another 5 mins or so to drain completely.

Also used this to clean my headliner. Got rid of pen marks and other stains.

I have some of those they seemed to take out splattered food stain, etc, but left little blue fabric behind when scrubbing hard, a baby wipe took off the threads afterwards, also used them on the outside to get some bubble gum off the body

Cats are going bad?
ya, that was my suspect cause I just had not had a chance to get the backpressure tested yet, when I was delivering my shipping today the light came on, first check engine light i've had on this thing. went by the muffler shop and they ordered 2 magnaflow's for me $295 each installed, price seems fair I checked prices on them a couple days ago and they were $260-280 something each everywhere, should be all fixed up tomorrow and hopefully my mpg will jump back up to at least 10 or better
