Lemme "grill" y'all for a minute...

I dug out two candidates for "custom" grilles. I still may not use either of these and may pick up a sheet of stucco mesh since it's easier to work with. Whichever I use, it'll be painted satin black and recessed deep. I'll make two small matching ones to go in the tow hook holes. I think I know which one I like best, but the other gives me doubts. They're not such a concern, but I listed the stats for fun. What y'all think?

Contestant #1. Perforated mild steel, 1/16" thick, 1/2" holes on 11/16 centers, 48% open area:

Contestant #2. Aluminum, 1/2" #16 flattened expanded, 64% open area:

it appears to be getting stuck in fuel economy mode, it should change to charge mode if the headlights are switched on (it doesn't change), or if the voltage drops below 12.56v (it doesn't change) or if the wipers are on for more than 3 seconds (it doesn't change), rear defrost (it doesn't change) and a couple other reasons which haven't checked yet.

Crawled under the truck today to look at some wiring and saw that the rear of the transfer case and front of the driveshaft was a little wet and that the front of the rear differential was also a little wet. So it looks like the seals need replacing on both. Need to get her up in the air a little to check the fluid levels, maybe tomorrow.
Darn it.

Crawled back underneath this morning and dropped the spare to check the rear differential fluid since we saw the pinion seal beginning to leak last evening. Level was fine. Looked around for the SSR for the Integrated Trailer Brake Controller but could not find it. Still can't figure out how to get those swinging plugs off the modules either. Anyone 'splain me how they work?

Hoist started slipped when bringing the tire up, not again! Pulled the bars out and squeezed them down some in the vise and got the spare snug as a bug in a rug. Boy oh boy is it hot outside already! Finished all that by 8:15 and was already drenched in sweat. It's going to be a hot summer.

80 all week here in Portland, perfect. Plus we don’t get the humidity.

!!!! Finally got the tech2 hooked up the PC and paid for the programming and it doesn't give the option to program the charging/energy storage, yet there is a update for it available

Would a different browser work? Or are you limited to a certain one?
Good suggestion. Looks to me like it’s a stand-alone application though..?
ETA: nvm, it shows a message right there, saying not to use the browser Fwd/ Back buttons.
Maybe something else needs update before you can do the charging system?

Best guess is you can’t update the charging system until another item is updated first. Maybe it has a dependency on another device.
