Yep, woke up to almost no hot water and it was originally installed in 1996 so off to Home Depot I went. Only took a half hour for me to install it, easy easy.

Chances are, at my next house, the water heater will be in the garage or similar. Mine's in the attic. It'd be much more than a half hour job to swap it!

Oh yeah. About a year after I bought this house, I noticed hot water coming out of a pipe sticking out of my back wall by my deck. WTF? I figured out it was an overflow from a water heater but this is a 3 bedroom house, and the water heater is in the garage, way away from this pipe. So I started investigating the second floor which is just the master suite- bedroom, bath, closet. No water heater there...or? What if it’s behind the built-in shelves in the master bath? I pulled some screws out and removed the shelves and bingo. Leaking water heater, a 50 gallon just for the MB. Stupid. I eliminated it and ran a pipe from the downstairs one.

So tonight I started the install of the new Auto Vox Cam 1 that I saw another member install. When I was driving the Tahoe I loved the high-def cam it had which put my Clarion one to shame. So I checked this one out online and figured I'd give it a try. I like how it mounts versus the other one which wasn't so solid. Plus the picture quality is amazing in comparison to my old one. It's up and running but I still have a few parts to reinstall into The Beast. I had to remove half the interior it seems. The old one had the same type of mini-connector near the back but when I plugged the new cam into it, it didn't work. the pinouts must be different so I had to run all new wiring.

Ehrmagerd. When you remove panels in a house to discover the unknowns, you should find old cigar tins or small suitcases with thousands of dollars and/or jewelry, not a damned water heater. Good thing you caught it when you did!

I decided after 6 months of mourning the passing of my Alaskan Husky Kujo, it was time for a new buddy. My friend bought an Alusky pup and I fell in love after seeing pics so I got this fella. Mom is a Siberian Husky and dad is a Malamute. Not sure how that combines into Alusky but so it is.

Congrats on the new pup! Welcome back to extra furry carpet. Nationwide whole pet w/ wellness plan now.

$100 Ann Deductible
90% reimbursement
Direct deposit claims
Covers lab work, meds, Rx food and the $68 mo pays for itself the first time they eat jalapeño sky beetles, a new crush pack of Marlboro or whatever they do.

It’s gong to pay to get our newest one fixed, any labs needed as well as covering the unexpected we ran into. There’s some kind of issue requiring easily digestive Rx food or she pukes almost on demand. Dude we adopted her from said nothing about it. $78 bag of Hill’s Rx dog food reimbursed @ $70 less tax ea Mo washes w/ $68 Mo Ins payment. We’re already covered on the $1.5k my Vet buddy charged so far. His wife submits all the claims for us. Win, win.

That's terrific, Mark! Let us know when you settle on a name. Looks like he'll be a great companion.
