haha when I had my 00 I didn't know it even had one for a few years when I pulled that thing out it was nasty and caked in dirt and leaves had to vacuum the compartment out, I think the air flow increased about 30% with a new filter, gm has flip flopped on using them from year to year if your truck does not have one you can add it.

Yeah they stopped putting them in because owners would never check/replace them and it caused more of a restriction and other problems when clogged full of crap.
I have one in my 2001 and change it every other year with the smelly Fram one from Walmart.... Lol

Yes, if you don't need those files, then you can delete them. We will need a 30 min data log and a copy of your stock tune files to build the custom tune. You may need to reconfigure the AutoCal to use for your vehicle, which you can do from our AutoCal management page. FYI, I created a folder on my computer for autocal files, with sub folders for downloads from Blackbear as well as data logs. The autocal doesn’t hold that much, so I use their file explorer to move them back and forth as needed, as well as have backups. You can delete any other vehicles files off the autocal as BB said.

I did this, as well, and it worked great. I haven't needed my AutoCal for years because I never need to load any other tunes on my burb then the one I have but the files still sit in that same folder and my AutoCal device sits in it's box on a shelf in the garage LOL

I'm curious as to why the autocal has such limited space for tunes. I don't need 50 tunes saved, but it would be nice to have all of them saved on the autocal and not just 3-4 max. It's not enough imo.
memory modules cost money, using minimal memory saves on production cost's, memory module prices fluctuates like oil
speaking of which if you ever want to see the best known prices for computer parts aside from ebay or amazon, Pricewatch has been around for a long long time, it's a good reference site to either compare prices or shop from, great deals!
That only need to be on there for a few minutes while you load them to the vehicle. Otherwise just leave them on the computer where you downloaded them.

What I usually do, but since the computer that had the files got waterlogged in the flood last year (was in my garage), I now don't have said files. And it kinda sucks to only be able to have enough for a few files. Stock ecm, stock tcm, 87 oct, and sport tcm is all that's on there. No room for more. I keep stock on there at all times in case I need to switch it back for inspection or maintenance work.
I dunno, I just feel like it should have a little more room for file storage, that's all.
