The fitment is the issue. A lot of aftermarket panels are very iffy. Choosing a reputable company like Keystone is the best way to hedge your bet.

Experiment with body work and paint.. the factory HD liner is also a unicorn piece so if you can find a factory one, get it.

Pretty positive the one I got is aftermarket. Drove to Houston to get it, but it was in primer and the gaps are slightly bigger than the factory hood, but anywhere further than 5 feet and you can't tell

Those of you who have performed this mod... What do you do with your spared hood?

Your best two options are to either hang it by a chain, with an extra piston, and use it like a dinner bell. Otherwise keep it next to your chair and it makes a great tray table.

Yeah I know its aftermarket I'm gonna call the dealer and get my cost on it. I manage a auto repair and tire shop so anything I have access to I get at cost.
