So I have 20’s on my Denali because the ride on the stock 22’s was too rough. Would these tires with, seemingly more rubber, not be as bad? Thinking of going 22...

Generally speaking, the only way to enough additional sidewall at any given tire diameter is to go up in aspect ratio.

BF Goodrich All Terrain T/A K02. LT275/55 R20.
Had to buy in a hurry (discovered cracks and had a road trip same day)
Really like them and don't hear any road noise.

Imo the BFG TAK02 are the best all around tire with legitimate off road capabilities.

Had them stock on the Raptor and put them on the GC, only slightly noisier than street tires and are great off road.

Put cooper At3 4s’s on my 16 Suburban about 3000 miles ago. Very happy with them so far. A little more aggressive look, fantastic traction in rain and snow, nearly as quiet as the stock Wrangler SRAs.

Kinda diggin those rims. Is it a gunmetal color?

@cardude2000 .......

Wow, can’t believe you’re :

A) asking for opinions

and

2) modifying your truck..

:)

Really? I always ask opinions. Here, there and everywhere. It’s how I keep my own biases and potential for group think/echo chambers to color my decisions.

And I’m not sure new tires would be considered a modification :)

I am running a 285/50r22 tire and my tire has only .4” less sidewall than a 275/55r20 and 1.6” larger overall diameter.

Looks great that way too! @iamdub What do you think Chris?

Alright dude, 4 pages in, have you made up your mind yet? LOL

Yep. Michelin LTX AT/2

Too much road noise from the more Offroad bias tires and also didn’t want such a large drop in fuel economy. Plus the evil globalist atheist meanie scientists over at Consumer Reports rated these at the very top.

Lol, maybe he’s modifying so he can sell his Denali for parts?

But seriously, cardude is alright, he singularly balances out the forum. And he’ll be one of the first to get the new 2020 Denali. I’m jealous already.

Even a broken clock is right twice a day! LOL Ok, so are you going with P-Metric or the LT version of that tire?

I would not consider them "beefy" in the looks department. Sidewall is boring and not made to grab dirt.
