No not really... they were put on last Saturday and I went to church Sunday and had the cats removed Monday... lol

with mine i couldnt get it quiet enough (dumb i know trying to quiet down longtubes/no cats/4" all the way out with straight thru mufflers).. but i have a 6" and a 30" and was going to try and stuff another 6" or 12" straight thru muffler probably where the stock resonator was.

Yeah... I'm still not certain that I made the right decision.

Adding the second muffler definitely toned it down to where it is tolerable.

Kind of wish I would have left well enough alone and saved the money... lol

I can't really tell that it made any really difference from a performance stand point.

If anything I feel like maybe it lost a little bottom end... which is what I was trying NOT to do.

What are your thoughts on that. Do you feel like you lost any torque/bottom end by going catless???

I have no bottom end at all. This thing is slow as hell "off the line". Never been to a drag, but it sucks trying to beat a car at a red light. I noticed a difference in mid-high end torque. It's fine by me, because if I need to pass, I can with ease. Third gear is great for me.

I added long tubes and took the cats out at the same time so I can't just say if it's cats or the combo together.

I suck at terminology on all this so I could be wording what I'm trying to say wrong.

3.08 gear Phil?

I remember @badandyturbo Andy's Tahoe has a tune and he added those Amazon long tubes and makes a solid 320 RWHP, 20 HP more than mine which just has a tune. If I remember right, his ran 15.40s.

And Ken, too many changes now brother! Going to be hard to know what's done good and what did nothing and what might have hurt. Speaking of hurt, how's the differential?

Not sure [emoji1745]I've never changed them so if that is what is stock from factory, then yes. I have the Dyno results somewhere on here or at home. It was putting out 307 at the wheels and torque was 290+ I think. That was with 22's on. I'd like to change some things, but it is still my daily and family hauler so i want to keep it somewhat of a family car. I just have a lot going on and we are trying to buy some property (cabin and a few acres) so the Tahoe is not high on the priority list sadly.

Went catless today...

I'm not convinced that I like it. It is louder and definitely has more growl/rasp than it did before.

I think I will probably drive it for a few days and see but most likely gonna get a resonator or something to tone it down a bit.

I honestly didn't expect it to make that big of a difference in sound.

Nasty tunes!! I like, but understand the tone for the land yacht.

Getting ready to install ABS fuse brake disconnect switch in the cabin, which will require me to pull out the top portion of the fuse box under the hood. Will this cause any problems with the computer or any other truck electronics? That will require a trip to the dealer for programming?

No but obviously disconnect the battery and just be careful cause I’ve heard stories of them being corroded and going to put it back on and bending over pins underneath
