Installed a gruven seat adjustment brass gear set so my wife can stop complaining the seat is too low. Also got the heated seat elements in on the drivers side. I’ll do the passenger side and wiring once I get my center console painted so I can hide the wiring under it.
Any kind of particular paint to use on the console? I could stand to paint mine. It's cashmere I think. Need ebony. If I'm getting the color names right...

Pic of it a few posts up.

Found a soft spot in the empty lot next to my house when trying to park my trailer behind the shop. Had to unhook the trailer and turn off the Traction Control and StabiliTrak so I could rock out of it:

Then I parked her nasty ass in the shop to test the door clearance between the lift towers:

... and to admire all the mud on the top side and that color-matched bowtie.

I bought SEM paint and adhesion promoter. Just need to get the time to scrub everything and paint it.

Are you 2WD or 4?

I think all LTZ are selectable 4wd

Negative. I think it's a regional thing- most of these SUVs- LS, LT, LTZ, etc. I see around here are 2WD. The only connection I could see the LTZ package having with the drivetrain is maybe having the automatic 4WD instead of the regular one.

Changed the oil for the first time. None of my filter wrenches fit the oil filter, because there isn't enough clearance to the oil pan, and the diameter is too small for the band one.. Thanks GM.

This is why we are fond of the K&N filter with the 1" nut welded to the bottom. The bottom one works but is a real pain on this setup. The filter socket works when you know how many pleats or whatever the particular filter is. I bought one based on a recommendation but the fella used a different filter than me so it didn't work. Sticking with K&N.
