not sure on the nnbs but my nbs had 2, I've only seen one on the nnbs so far there could be another one hiding somewhere
If I remember correctly on my nbs there was one in the grill and then one lower in the frame/bumper area or behind the grill somewhere on the passenger side, most people don't even know what they are lol, I only noticed the one in the grill on the nbs because I added a truecool and I had to move it so it wasn't behind the transcooler.
I have an 03, NBS--So mine would probably be different. On mine there's 1 behind the grill on the driver's side.
PER rockauto there is only 1 outside temp sensor, it does not show a 2nd sensor or part number, there is only a superseded number. If I understand correctly you added this part from a different year? if so the wiring or programming may also be different, if so then you could maybe add another sensor and wire it up or maybe patch it in to the existing one but that may change the ohm's or something and give a incorrect reading (just guessing). another member added one to his express van but I can't remember there user name at the moment.

. But the mirror was from an 01-02, non Onstar, and I used only 1 temp sensor. It reads normally, and even says "ICE" when necessary.
well I have a 2012 and the mirror doesn't show the direction or the temp it's all in the DIC
