love top gun! I used live pretty close to Miramar, I worked for a rental car company and we had a contract with Miramar and General Dynamics so I got to cruise the base often

Have a handful of friends that tease me for my love of top gun by giving me t shirts and laughing at me. They have yet to figure out that the jokes on them, cause I wear them anytime we're out together. Keep em comin. Lol

Ok... I have a question...

Why are the gauges different???

My 2008 Surburban LTZ has gauges like @Galante 's and @07Burb 's... without the hash marks that @Doubeleive 's has.

At first I thought maybe it had to do with the year of the truck but I believe Galante's is a 2013.

Is it a Chevy vs GMC thing or LTZ vs LT thing or ???

Edit... I just went back and looked... @Doubeleive 's Speedo goes to 140mph... mine only goes to 120.

Is yours a Denali???

I wonder if the PPVs are like that too.

my speedometer is a ppv edition I changed it out since that was all I could do, I like the escalade cluster (one of the few things I like from the cadi) but it's not compatible. and yes it is a Denali also

I've seen that mod and it didn't seem worth it to me, plus the trim never looked right no matter what they did.

Inspiration for me. I believe I've settled on color-matching my chrome trim and getting gloss black 22s. I may even go all Euro with it and gloss black wrap the hood and roof (and nixing the roof rack).

any regrets going 22s? i'm on the fence now about 22/24 and your truck leans the 22 argument hard. that and good tires are about 100/ea cheaper
