Actually it was very easy, once you get the shaft off mark the nut and the shaft so you can get it back to the right tightness. Remove the nut and washer and spray with pb blaster then let sit for a few minutes, then you have two choices, either tap it off with a hammer (which is what I did) or use a puller. After that just pop out the seal and tap in the new one, and reinstall everything. It took me less time to change the seal than it did to put in one u joint.

Nice, i hadn't even looked at Mitchell yet. Good to know it will be a quickie job when I swap the transfer case out.

Not gonna lie I was kinda nervous about it but it really wasn’t a big deal like I thought it would be.

Did some preliminary fab work for an easily removable and inexpensive barn door mounted Jerry can mount, got it mostly done, a few tweaks here and there and I’ll be ready to do some Bedliner on it to finish it out

Got my auxiliary fuel tank setup done pretty happy with it, especially since it was cheap and it’s removable

Looks great Dallas! Sometimes life gets busy, the mod works and those interim fixes become permanent. You do some great work.

Got in my opt-7 LED high beams earlier, installed and wired up the 4hi mod using a relay, just in time for Easter at the lake, freakin love it!

Hey Dallas, where did you get that brush guard? Is it part of the bumper?
Truck looks sweet!

Well I installed the Magnaflow catted Y Pipe and OBX headers (shorty)

I'm almost done with the rebuild of my spare 246 transfer case..... complete rebuilt (new case/back half, new forward output shaft, new chain, all new bearings, all new seals, new oil pump, oil pump saver plate (prevent case wear), new clutch/plate kit, new snap rings were needed and new drain/fill plugs. I will also replace the transmission mount and front pinion seal.

Once the work bench is not covered in transfer case and LSA blower parts........... I will port my space TB for sh!ts and gigs.

Started on the door panels of the '99. I'm also going to upgrade these 20 year old stock speakers. Dang these things are dirty!! Judging by the amount of dirt I'm finding inside all of the doors I'm pretty sure the previous owner lived on a dirt road and NEVER cleaned a thing.

Finished the transfer case rebuild..........i decided to paint it.

On Friday I ported my spare throttle body, cleaned it, painted and man...........well worth the effort. I gained some noticeable mid to top end pep.

I think i will port, clean and paint my old one and throw it up on the web for sale.

About midway through my door panel redo. I'll get pics taken soon. It's turning out good, though!

Carpet ripped out. Just need to order new and the interior will be basically rapped up. I'll probably get a new head unit here pretty soon and call it a day on the interior for a while.
