Got the EBC brakes on today... also took out the upper spring isolators which dropped it about 1/4”. I noticed my new bumpstops were hitting, so I cut them down a bit... rides better than stock now

Have you done the free travel mod? If not, you'd better get with it lol.

Yo, you sure you put the rotors on the correct side? Usually the top of the slot is the leading edge

Nevermind! Looks like it's right on ebc site,

According to EBC, this is the correct way. I think some brands recommend the other way. I normally see them installed like this

Well been awhile. Since I’ll be deploying again, it was time for the annual paint correction/detailing job on the wife’s 2012 Tahoe

I read somewhere that it was shown to make no discernible difference. I don't recall if it was on a particular brake manufacturer's site or a third party. But, I don't think it matters beyond aesthetics. I like mine not spinning "backwards".

I think it only makes a difference if you have direction vanes.

It doesn’t make a discernible difference on a street car, but for a race car it does. The slots are supposed to spin like lowh07 has his. That helps the gasses escape better
