Okay, that makes sense now.
I've started noticing some people with white turn signals. They flash white. Some rear, some front. I thought to myself "no way that's legal"

Same here see that a lot on the ricers honestly I can’t see doing it on the rear tho that’s just asking for an accident

The 3157 turns are flashbacks when they are on they are amber but when they are off they are pure white to match the DRL and side marker bulbs, no inspections here, I had this HU sitting around for 3 months lol I got sick of only having one button light up on the factory HU

That’s pretty rad! I think I wanna do that to mine to math my white DRL bulbs. What brand are those bulbs you got?! And did you have to wire in anything behind the bulb to make it work properly?!

These are the bulbs I used for the 3157 https://hidkitpros.com/shop/3157ck-dual-color-led-bulb-60-smd/ these are the 194’s https://hidkitpros.com/shop/hkp-t10-194-led-bulb-diffusion-lens/ I get all my LED’s from them they are top notch & high quality, and no wiring just plug and play to get them to flash correctly I added an LED flasher but that’s easy to swap out

What’s an LED flasher?
Edit: I’m assuming the 3157 is the larger turn signal bulb right? Like on my truck that would be the larger turn in between the DRL and the small corner? And the 194 is the small corner turn signal?

Flash module to eliminate hyperflash. Yes on sizing.

You need to bend this tab back slightly to fully seat the pocket, it fits nice and snug and once the console is back in front there will be zero movement

This is the pocket I used it’s Metra 98-8999

Came across these 22” Escalade rims today, they look to be in pretty good shape, has the Escalade center caps, plenty of tread left, once I sell my rims I’ll probably be into these for $400, what’s anyone think? I know I was going for that murdered out look but I think these would look great too

I think they would to, I’m just debating do I leave the chrome on the rack and boards or do I wrap that and just throw these on

Leave the chrome in the rack and in the wheel inserts. It’ll tie in together plus I the racks look a lot better with the chrome as is. I’ve seen it wrapped and painted to color matched, and it looks good, but I also really like it chrome because it just looks right chrome.

Bought these factory 22” Escalade rims & tires last night, the rims are pretty clean no curb rash, looks like whoever had these rims used a drive through car wash often cause the chrome part of the rims have very tiny fine scratches, I’m gonna throw some new rubber on in the next few weeks and throw them on, I’m thinking next winter I’ll pull the tires and get the rims painted black

I cleaned up the OEM Escalade 22’s I picked up last week they came out pretty nice, discovered a crack on the back of one rim tho, found a place that can fix it, dropping the rim off tomorrow.

Ya I’m lucky it can be fixed it’s $130-150 to fix the crack it just sucks the trip one way is an hour but they do great work so it’s worth it, ya I already did lol I kinda bitched the guy out for it, he claims he didn’t know and if he had he would have mentioned it, I mean I still got a good deal on them after seeing what a mint set goes for, just didn’t plan on this BS, when I got them I looked them over quick and didn’t see the crack didn’t notice it till I washed them last night, so hopefully he kicks me back a lil cash if not I’m gonna report him to Offer Up for selling damaged goods and see if they punish him for it (probably not tho) moral of the story is just pay the extra for new rims unless your getting used ones off EBay or a reputable place

Ya I hear you on that, I actually posted them f/s as is and got some decent offers for them, but I’m gonna keep them, fix the one rim, then paint them and wrap the chrome on them cause they unbolt and have a nice set cause after all they are OEM

If I came across a good deal, I would probably buy some, I usually see a-lot of those oem esky 22s for sale on craigslist and stuff.
