The other week I noticed oil all under the engine and trans, confirmed it was motor oil. Initially thought it was a rear main, but pulling off inspection plug on trans bell housing shows it is all clean in there. Tracked the leak to up top to the oil pressure sensor, but my oil pressure gauge is pretty stable. So i tackled changing out that bad boy yesterday.... wow! Quite a PITA! I got it out and the connector well was filled with oil, so I think i might be right. Got the new one in and torqued to 26FtLbs. So far so good.

That’s one of the pros of having a body lift. Say like a 3in body lift... more room to access tighter areas like the rear of the engine and rear bolts to exhaust manifolds etc. lol

Last night fixed my intermittent ABS & brake light coming on. Resoldered the connections inside the abs module. Unfortunately, when I hooked the battery back up, the airbag light came on! Had to put in new sensor. So it cost me $75 bucks instead of free, all seems good though.

Just replaced my hub assemblies a couple weeks ago, I’ve also done rear pass side brake caliper, rear u joint. Most recently I got some 24” Panther Realms off a guy from Craigslist! I’m so excited to put em on but I think I want to lower it first or at least level the rear down somehow.

I finally scored a clean set of color matched Denali door handles. Looks so much better going to wrap the chrome on the rack & boards along with tinting the tails & 3rd brake light

Replaced the driver door water deflector since it was missing, it’s not shown in this pic but I made another hole for the door switch wiring so you have enough slack to hook up the switch with the door panel

Replaced the amber 194 turn signal bulb to match the rest of the pure white LED’s looks perfect now

so a while back i bought fender flares, they come black, thought about running them as is but after holding one up on the truck that went out the window, its not the right black. so i ordered up some paint thats by rpo code. it came yesterday so i did a test spray on some plastic i had laying around to see if its close or not.

id have to say its pretty damn close. took two pics, one in direct sun, the other shaded some.

found these guys on line, still about 20 a can, but its a larger OZ can then most others for the same price. https://repaintsupply.com/

also got their prep spray and 2k clear. its two part clear. didnt know this till i had it in hand. once again its a good thing i read directions. you shake for 2 minutes then flip it over and theres a pin on the bottom of the can with a cap they give you. push the pin in and it releases the second part inside the can. i was about to give the test a coat of clear, then i read all that jaz, was ok, that will have to wait lol

exactly, also never knew it was a thing. does say "pro use only, wear a mask" on the cap on a white sticker with red letters. kind of a hint i suppose.

iirc it was like 15 bucks too. rather cheap. orders over 98 bucks ship free. i needed the clear and prep spray anyways, so i was padding the total, right to $103 lol

i got 4 cans, plan on doing the flairs as well as the grill and maybe the black plastic on the rear bumper. and the door guards are no longer red. be cheaper to pull them off, re paint and stick em back on.
