Seeing that the 275/65/20 seems to fit without a leveling kit...do you think I could get by with a 295/60/20 all terrain tire (probably nitto TG G2)? I plan to run a 2.5/1" level kit. If the 295 won't work I was planning on a 285/60/20 Toyo OC ATII.

I just had 285/60/20 Duratracs installed a few days ago (pics coming soon, I promise). I'm leveled and haven't experienced any rubbing yet, but is super tight, and I'm sure I'll get a rub with the right combination of an uneven road and a tight turn. If you are comfortable trimming your fender liners than I'd guess you could squeeze in the 295s

I think I'm going to just stick with the 285/60s! Now if my stock tires could wear out so I could throw on the leveling kit and new tires!!

I have a 17 Sierra Denali on a 2.5/1 RCX level and I am running the 33x12.5x22 Nitto Ridge Grappler and I get rub at full lock on the sway bar. I would think it is going to be damn near impossible to run a 295/60/20 on your vehicle and not rub. That is essentially a 34" tire. Now it is over an inch narrower than what I am running so maybe you don't get quite the rub. I am running stock wheels on these tires so I would ignore what the shops are telling you. I know I would.

I would be running stock wheels as well. It's hard to tell without trying the 295s and have no way of test fitting.

Tom squad,
Does your LTZ have the rear airride (autolevel air shock suspension)?
I'm wondering if the rear leveling kit works with it.

Thanks

Do you have pics of your 285/60/20?
Would like to know if ran into any rubbing through time? and about how much of a gap is left.

This thread I started has some pics: http://www.tahoeyukonforum.com/threads/got-some-new-shoes.97748/ (check both pages for all the pics)

I've had ZERO rubbing since I put these on. Very happy with them. Not sure exactly how much gap is left, but with the wheels turned there's not much. I can try to get some actual measurements tomorrow.

I just did a 2" level in the front with 285/55/20 BFG KO2's and 20x9 Method NV. I could've went a little bigger on the tire as there's lots of room. I'll go bigger after these need replacing.

Hey how’s it going just found this thread and love this setup! Currently trying to go for the same thing! With this wheel and tire setup and 2 inch lift in the front you have no rubbing?
