No this is Black Bears Autocal tuning device very easy to use and the setup steps are even easier, basically update software, plug it up in the vehicle to the obd2 go for a 30-45 min drive doing some full throttle pulls along the way save the data log to the device save stock engine tune stock tranny tune export it to your computer email it off, get updated tunes back from BBP download onto device, upload to vehicle and have fun.

Ok cool. I'll have to look into that.
Thanks for the info

Installed a canned 87 octane tune off the inTune i1000 and disabled AFM and torque management.

Much better now.

Wife didn’t like the shift firmenss and other stuff I programmed onto her 07, so I left all that out.

@kwOH

Saw this CC Denali today. Wheels for reference. Can’t remember what direction you were going.

I do like those, haven’t thought about wheels lately, coming close to winter, the thought of spending that amount of money and the amount of salt that would be all over them, makes me ok with my denali 20s lol.

Truth. I tend to forget the winter wheels time frame. lol. Wheels can wait for better weather.

Just ordered an Innova 3150f scan tool. Let's see how well this works. I have wanted a tool for a while, and the reviews on this one seems promising to be a good all around unit. Plus, Amazon had a $25 off bringing it competitively to $188. It'll be here Wednesday.

I got into a minor accident last Monday. I have only owned the Tahoe for two months, but was rear-ended as the lead car in the a three-car accident. The Nissan Leaf behind me was hit by the car behind him. All damages are relatively minor, and all cars were able to be driven away. There were no injuries.

The body shop quoted me $952.00 for the bumper and hitch cover. It is mostly all labor after their estimated $300 in parts. They will have to determine if other damages exist to the hitch, spare tire components, etc., when they do the work. They said they are going to repair the bumper instead of replacing it, as a good used bumper would be too hard to source. This doesn't make sense to me, but that is how it works. Gotta love insurance companies. As long as it looks as good as it did two months ago when I bought it, and everything works correctly and is safe, it is all good. Sad to already have to deal with this on my new-to-me Tahoe, but it did take the hit well.

I guess I am fortunate the the driver who caused the damage even has insurance. There are way too many uninsured/underinsured motorists out there.

Sad, but so effin' true! :shooter: And that's why YOU, the responsible driver, have to spend money to have coverage against them. :banghead: Saved me once already about 7-8 years ago.
