Debadged.
Might demold in a few days. Taking some time to decide.
I usually hit mine with a buffer and some swirl & scratch remover and it does the job. Does take some time tho.I need to demold mine, but I will need to set aside a entire day to be able to clay bar, compound, polish and wax Bertha while I'm at it..

I know, but you weren't lying.Just busting your balls....

I'll shut up after this. I promise.

"Yet..." lmao.. Glad it was a simple and free fix!I know, I know... My ramblings about the issues I'm dealing with clutter this thread of others working on all kinds of fancy stuff, polishing their rides up and what not.I'll shut up after this. I promise.
Anyway... AC belt came off once again today and wife wasn't too happy since the temps ARE well into the damn 90s around here and cool air is somewhat of a necessity.
Decided to give it one more shot and took it to the shop that fixed it a couple of months ago (high pressure hose, relay etc.). They took it in and a couple of hours later called that it's all good to go.
The reason the AC belt has been popping off is, just as I've been suspecting for a while, that the compressor was misaligned with the rest of the stuff. They said the compressor has been replaced at some point before and that there were still a couple of bolts missing which allowed the compressor to slide forward just enough to cause misalignment.
They put new bolts in, aligned everything, checked everything with a laser and alls good again. And all this at no cost to me as the owner of the place said they should've caught it the last time around.
Once again..., gotta love friggin' honest shops that stand by their work and treat you good.
Pretty confident that the AC saga is finally over and no need to torch the thing yet.![]()

Nice! Did they use a matte clear on them or is it just the angle that makes them look dull[emoji2]![]()
