New to the forum here - I just picked up a Tahoe LTZ and plan on doing a couple mods.

The valence trim mod (if anyone has a link to the police valence that would be great)
Tint on the front two windows
Electric running boards (if anyone knows where to get these for cheaper that'd be great)
Lift but would prefer level.
Plan on doing a 2.5/1 Suspension Maxx level and would ideally like to run a 305/55/20 A/T tire. Has anyone done this? If so could you please post pictures? Any insight would be great. Should a 305 fit with a 2.5 or do you need to step up to a 3-4"? Is it the general consensus that the SuspenionMaxx and ProComp is the best? I have the autoride and its 2WD.
Tires I am considers are Nitto, Toyo, BFG, and Cooper.

How are angles and ride on the 2.5 up front? Will angles be compensated for?

Thanks all for the help.

Any update on this? I am going to pull the trigger in the next week and am having trouble deciding between 295/60/20 or 305/55/20 Open Country AT IIs or Nitto Terra Grappler G2s. I may consider the Pro Comp AT Sports if they weigh a reasonable amount as they are almost in between the two sizes. Does anyone know if these will fit without rubbing or have any pictures? I plan on doing 2.5"/1" SuspensionMaxx kit.

Thanks

I just did a 2" level in the front with 285/55/20 BFG KO2's and 20x9 Method NV. I could've went a little bigger on the tire as there's lots of room. I'll go bigger after these need replacing.

Hey, did you ever pull the trigger? If so, what setup did you go with and how do you like it? I am debating the same tires sizes....

I believe I'm going with the 305s. Stay turned as it will be happening soon. 295 ~34" are going to require major trimming. I'm going to create a post later tonight with some mods and updated info I've done since. Should be under the exterior section.

Awesome man. Looking forward to seeing how it turns out for you. I want to pull the trigger this week or next and think I will be doing 20x9 with 0 or negative offset. 305/55/20s. And 2.5/1 level. Anybody have reccomendations on where to buy wheels/tires at reasonable prices? Local shops are way to pricey, custom offsets site seems competitive.

I had a delay as I was in an accident but created a large write up in the "exterior" section of the forum

Does anyone know if you can run a 305/55/20 on stock rims safely? Does ride turn horribly? Do the tires bow out too much on stock rims? Do you have to go aftermarket?

Thanks!

Shops I have been talking to keep saying they will be a little too wide and can mess up the tread wear and another said the offset will create it to hit the control arm or something and slice the tire right open. Any of this true? I feel like I'm just trying to get convinced to buy wheels or wheel spacers

There are plenty of guys running these on stock wheels. I don't have spacers or anything. I rub the sway bar at full lock but its not bad and in no way a danger to the tire. I will admit though I'm not 100% familiar with the layout of the 2015+ suspension, I'd think its pretty similar considering most leveling kits work for NNBS and 2015+.

I had more clearance issues in the back and rubbing the wheel well plastic. Before my 1" rear spacer, I was in danger of rubbing the plastic through to the upper shock bolt. I flipped the upper shock bolt to point inboard and installed the 1" and no problem now.

Tread wear is fine. I run 44 psi on a 65 psi max, E rated tire. I've got 25k on these tires, no problem.

Do your spacers may your tires stick out past the wheel wells? I want to be inside or completely flush with the wheel wells

Ok, but why would a suspension spacer move the wheel horizontally?
Its not, 1" rear spacer is lifting the truck and thereby clearing the upper shock bolt and stopping the rubbing of the upper plastics...... but i may be wrong.....maybe he put a 1" rear wheel spacer.... lets ask him.... @NGAneer ......esplain plse
