Yeah I didn't mind them before I added the 3in body lift but after that they really stuck out like a sore thumb. At least you now know the option is there lol.
I get now why you would want to get the z71 springs! I didn't realize they just added spacers! Makes a lot more sense now. Before getting the z71 springs, call around and see if lift companies will sell you longer springs because you might be able to get them cheaper that way and lose the spacers? Or add to the spacers still? Anyways your hoe looks great too hope to see it around more on TYF!
Thanks man, I appreciate it. I'm just running out of ideas on what to do next, other than those nerf bars that are collecting dust.

We're in the same boat. I have my factory z71 nerf bars still but they go with all the plastics I removed. I need something to help hide my frame but I just don't have the money for what I want right now.

I think I paid around 360 ish for the Nfab ones. They're probably the best looking ones out, but you have to drill all the holes. I mounted one on the drivers side, I'll upload a pic for you.

Bc i hate how my front sits lower than the back i have been looking at a body lift. I did have it pretty much lvled off but ended up ripping my cv boots so had to lower it down.

- what are my options to actually level this thing back out without screwing stuff up.

- looking into new shocks all the way around.

- looking at coil over for the back

- going to go with the z71 springs.

- maybe a little longer front shock

Hate the way this sits now

2004 GMC Yukon Denali

6" Tuff country
3" Body lift
315/70-17 K02

Found this thing hiding in the desert, needs some TLC. Shocks are first and foremost, looks like they are old as the truck itself. Also going to lose the front shock spacers, looks like it induces a weird articulation that makes the shock slam into the old bump stop, full length extended shocks look like they will clear like a normal 4x4. Also from everything i can tell this lift was meant for a 4x4. But I am having no issues with vibration or CV's exploding.

When I first installed my 6in RCX lift I ran 35/12.50/18 Open Country MT's for a couple years with no spacers. Here's a pic from years ago with that setup (no spacers)

After adding a 3in body lift and keys runnin 37/13.50's I ended up throwin on some 2in wheel spacers just because I wanted to widen the stance. Not for clearance.

Top pic is leveling kit with Cognito UCAs and Bilstein 5100s up front and Monroe load leveling air shocks and z71 springs in the back.

Bottom is 7-9 Cognito w/ Bilstein 5165s all around, and a bunch more see build thread for details.

Both are on 33x12.50s 20x12s

Stepping up to 35's when those Feds wear out? Maybe 37's? Re-gearing on the horizon?
