2013 Avalanche...LMG 5.3 to L96 6.0 (Pics)

Currently working on swapping out my 5.3 for a 6.0...

Justin originally tuned my truck in person on 03/07/15 in person in Houston, TX...the tune has been excellent!

I bought a 2015 L96 out of a wrecked 2015 Silverado 2500 with 35k miles...

I have just finished deleting the VVT, swapping the cam and installing the LS9 Head Gaskets and ARP Head Studs...just waiting on my injectors and I need to measure for my pushrods

The cam is a 3 Bolt Non VVT Texas Speed 212/218 .600 Intake .600 Exhaust 114 LSA 111 ICL using the BTR .660 polished Valve Springs. The 6.0 has 823 Heads (Rectangle Port Heads), I had them milled 0.030 and added LS9 Head Gaskets and ARP head studs. I am using an L92 truck intake with the 6.2 truck Flex Fuel injectors which I think are 42lb or 54lb? Part # 12609749, I believe the 5.3 in my Avalanche now is tuned for the 36lb Injectors, Part # 12613411.

For the time being I will be running the factory exhaust manifolds and 93 octane only. But later down the road I will be adding a set of Kooks and switching to E85.

I purchased the AutoCal from BlackBear a month ago. It is Serial # 5000965503.

Is there any additional information you need from me to provide a tune for the swap?

Right now it has a 1" front leveling kit...Planning on removing that, dropping the rear 2" with belltech springs and adding 2017+ Black 17" Tahoe PPV Wheels...gotta get the motor swapped first though

Got the tune file today! Hopefully I can the new motor in this weekend...scored a deal on some ARH headers on Craigslist so Im gonna do the exhaust as well..

Been through 2 sets of wheels....

First the 22" Silverado Rally Edition wheels

Then most recently I scored a deal on Craigslist on some 22" DUB Baller S216's...however im having trouble getting 2 of them to balance, up around 65+ MPH my steering wheel has a little shake in it that wasn't there with the factory GM 22" wheels...I just had Discount Tire rebalance them for me so hopefully this fixes the issue as I love the look of the 5 Spokes...

So the new power with the 6.0 has been a major improvement from the 5.3 but I found a great deal on a new LS3 crate motor....so ill be swapping in the LS3 here fairly soon...
