From Grapevine huh, Coppell sound familiar?
But yeah people on here have the 6.2L but that engine is real sluggish w/o a custom tune, plus you have to worry about the rougher idles people with Denalis with the 6.2L complain about....

i know exactly where coppells at.
i found one and only one at classic chevrolet in grapevine with a $56,000 price tag.

I know where Classic is at, the huge place right around DFW.
I would say $56k is a good price, but to high for a Tahoe IMO.
I would say just get a Denali at this point.
And when I said sluggish, I meant the 6.2L Tahoes do have more power when your behind the steering when compared to the 5.3L, but for some reason they don't feel as good as the 6.2L in the Esky and Denalis, just what I heard!![]()
In the Denali or Escalade they rate it at 403 HP, but only 395 HP in the Tahoe. There's no difference in the motors, it's just a marketing thing, like my E55. 469 HP in the E55, 493 HP in the SL55 or S55 even though all of them dyno about the same. I have no trouble keeping up with or even pulling away from an Escalade, at least the one I ran into this weekend.
It's a 2006, last of the supercharged AMG's.
My friend has a Siera Denali with the 6.2, tune, CAI and it's an animal.. I swear that truck vs my TBSS (when it was stock) would have hung on the door through 60mph. It feels like a 13.9 or so, which is ridiculous given it's mass![]()
go get one!
Gotcha. I hadn't heard that. I've driven several 6.2 Denali's and Escalades and they all run like a ***** ape.
That is one nice way to see that, I'm going to start using that phrase.
But I don't think the Tahoes 395 HP is a marketing scheme, there could be a small difference somewhere b/w the cars like the intake, factory tune or something?
