Z71 front valance advice , 2012 nnbs

I have a CCM 2.5/1 kit on my 12 Z71 . I want to keep stock rims I think but want to go to a 285/65/18. Looks like if I do it it will hit those corner valances . What are you doing about this for bigger tires ? do I need to remove them ? Seems like trimming them is not really gonna work.

If you end up removing them, let me know. I may want to buy them from you. Do you have any pics showing how close your tires get to them now?
